Softlink Global, one of the leading software providers for Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), has announced that international logistics company DSV – Global Transport & Logistics has implemented Logi-Sys, a single system to automate and control international Customs clearance, in India. Based out of Hovedgaden, Denmark, DSV is spread across the globe with offices in all major continents like America, Europe, Africa and more. DSV is internationally recognised for its capacity to deliver high levels of customer service and value.

The DSV India team selected Logi-Sys after careful evaluation of many softwares available for their Customs clearance operations. Logi-Sys met the core requirement of DSV India in having in place a single system across their network in the country. The implementation methodology followed by Softlink allows DSV India to quickly rollout the system whenever they expand to newer locations. “Logi-Sys not only gave us a secure and the latest technological platform DSV India needed, but also brought in control and accuracy in our pan-India Customs operations,” said Mr Tushar Deshmukh, Director, Customs Brokerage FTWZ, Indian Subcontinent.

Softlink Global CEO, Mr Amit Maheshwari, said, “Logi-Sys will help DSV India to be in sync with the dynamic Customs regulations of the country in real-time as these changes are updated regularly. The systematic implementation maps their existing process flows and follows compliances set by their management.” He added, “The system has also given them the capability to effectively monitor their Customs documentation across their branches in India, and red flags any exceptions through its alert and notifications feature.”

Logi-Sys integrates the key functions of a logistics service provider seamlessly with respect to every stage of a shipment’s journey. The track and trace module of the application is automated and accessible across devices for real updates of shipment status to customers.

These functionalities enhance the efficiency in operations tremendously and reduce costs. It also has a fully integrated billing and financial accounting system serving as an end-to-end solution for their business, highlighted a release.
