India’s Merchandise Exports Rise 23% as First-Half Earnings Reach $259.89 Billion

To ensure that customers familiarize with these changes, Hapag Lloyd has summarized the important aspects below:

  • The customs manifest details must be submitted by the last loading port before reaching Sri Lanka at least 24 hours before the vessel’s departure.
  • Customer’s shipping instructions must be submitted 24 hours before the vessel’s arrival at the loading port.
  • In case a booking has missing or incomplete information, the containers associated to it will regretfully not be loaded.

The customs manifest details submission is linked to the implementation of ASYHUB by the Sri Lankan Customs Authorities whereby the system and process demand a change to the previously existing procedure.
