As per the details shared by the Shapoorji Pallonji group, development of infrastructure projects is a major enabler in boosting strong diplomatic ties between India and Africa. The infrastructure developer has further urged US development finance institutions to step forward and collaborate for swift execution of projects. Indeed, Africa is looking forward for countries like India and the United States for handholding to develop infrastructure in the continent.

The Shapoorji Pallonji group has completed several projects in Africa including the presidential palace in Ghana and the international convention centre in Niger. Further, this infrastructure major is trying to set its foothold in the mining sector of Africa as well. Indian companies are preferred in Africa for allotting infrastructure projects because Indian businesses enable skill sharing and knowledge building with Africa counterparts. Further, Indian companies are renowned for both quality and cost optimisation for any project they undertake.
