To support the government-appointed administrator of the trade association, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) established an auxiliary committee.
The five Sammilito Parishad members on the auxiliary committee are: Shahidullah Azim, Classic Fashion Concept’s managing director (MD), ANM Saifuddin MD of MS Wearing Apparels, Shams Mahmud MD of Shasha Garments, Miran Ali MD of Misami Garments, and Asif Ashraf MD of Urmi Garments.
At one point or another, all five served on the BGMEA Board of Directors.
Enamul Haque Khan, Managing Director (MD) of Anant Clothing; M Mohiuddin Chowdhury, Director of Clifton Fashion; Rezwan Salim, MD of Softex Cotton; Md. Shihabuddoja, MD of Amity Design; and Sharif Zahir, MD of Anant Apparels, are the other five members of the auxiliary committee who are forum-supported parishad members.
The auxiliary committee was established by the organization’s members to support the administrator in charge of BGMEA in managing its operations in accordance with the Trade Organization Act, per the office memorandum of its formation.
