Italian shipping line Ignazio Messina & C. has announced the launch of its new Red Sea Express Line, further strengthening its Indian Ocean-Red Sea service network and expanding connectivity across one of its most strategic trade corridors.

How does the new service fit alongside Ignazio Messina’s existing network?

The Red Sea Express will operate alongside the company’s existing Jolly Line service, offering customers enhanced sailing options, increased cargo capacity and greater schedule flexibility in response to growing trade demand between India and the Red Sea region.

Which vessel has been deployed for the new service?

As part of the expansion, Ignazio Messina has deployed an additional vessel, m/v Berham Box, dedicated exclusively to the Red Sea Express service, underscoring the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence on this key trade lane.

What does this launch mean for Ignazio Messina’s regional strategy?

The new service reinforces Ignazio Messina’s focus on serving the India-Red Sea corridor with reliable and efficient shipping solutions, reflecting the company’s broader strategy of expanding capacity and connectivity in response to rising trade volumes along one of its most strategically important routes.
