Allcargo Logistics Ltd, India’s largest integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions provider, has been certified as a Great Place to Work in the recently released Great Place to Work® (GPTW) Employee Survey 2022, in the ‘companies with 1000+ employees’ category. The company has performed remarkably in the survey and attained a score of 83 surpassing its previous best i.e. 77 achieved in 2019.

The GPTW certification celebrates Allcargo’s relentless efforts in accomplishing its goal to build and sustain a high-trust and high-value based culture. It also underlines the strength of the company’s people strategy designed to empower employees, develop leaders and enhance the workforce competencies consistently.

This year, 87 percent employees participated in the survey which is one of the highest since Allcargo Logistics started participating in the reputed GPTW Employee Survey way back in 2012. The company has been regularly participating in this survey with an aim to develop a more profound understanding of the evolving workplace dynamics and transform the people management practices.

In the survey, employees of Allcargo Logistics have acknowledged, among other aspects, the Competence, Credibility & High Ethical Standards of Management, as well as great Career Opportunities made available to Work, Learn and Grow professionally. They have also reinforced feelings of immense Pride at being associated with a reputed brand like Allcargo and the respect they have for all the work being done in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility.

While commenting on the achievement, Adarsh Hegde, Joint MD, Allcargo Logistics said. “We are thrilled to have been acknowledged as Great Place to Work® in 2022. It’s an amazing feat which validates our people-first approach in making Allcargo Logistics an aspirational place to work. GPTW is the ultimate recognition of the tireless efforts put in by our people-centric leadership and team members towards building a vibrant and progressive global company in line with the international standards. The acknowledgement will motivate us to further nurture the enduring organisational culture based on learning and development, inclusivity, equal opportunity and safety. Thanks to the comprehensive approach, we have been able to develop great powerhouse of leaders and young talent which will lead us to the next phase of growth.”

Allcargo logistics’ people management principles are based on the idea of diversity. Globally, women comprise almost 42% of its workforce at different levels. The company has developed comprehensive rewards and recognition programmes to engage talent and encourage outstanding performance. It also assigns equal importance to regular reskilling and up-skilling to boost employee capabilities. The health, safety, and security of the employees is non-negotiable for Allcargo Logistics.

As part of the Certification process, GPTW evaluates the organisation on two parameters – the Trust Index Employee Survey and the Culture Audit Management Questionnaire. In the Trust Index Employee Survey, the assessment is based on the confidential and anonymous feedback of the employees of a company. Culture Audit Management Questionnaire analyses the value system, programs and practices of a particular company. Allcargo Logistics has scored well on both parameters to be qualified for this Certification.
