Ludhiana office will cover a  large base of ICDs [Inland Container Depots] in Punjab and caters to the wider geographies of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir.

Through this office, officecargo owners in the northern hinterland will have easy access to the port for import/export of cargo to and from East Asia, Europe and the Americas.

APM Terminals Pipavav’s Ludhiana office can facilitate local companies with access to global markets, thus enhancing their exposure to a wider customer base. The team will be able to provide improved connections with trade partners, facilitate faster connectivity and offer cost efficient and reliable solutions for the movement of Export/Import cargo.

The office was inaugurated by Mr. Amit Bhardwaj, Chief Commercial Officer at APM Terminals Pipavav, in the presence of representatives from Northern India Steamer Agents Association Ludhiana (NISAA), ICD operators of Ludhiana (Gateway Distriparks Ltd., CONCOR, Pristine Logistics, Hind Terminals Pvt. Ltd., Adani Logistics Ltd.), prominent Freight Forwarders, Exporters/Importers and APM Terminals Pipavav’s Commercial Team.

Ludhiana has the distinction of having a large base for import of scrap, steel, wastepaper and an equally large base for the export of rice and yarn amongst other commodities. Ludhiana’s strategic location and robust infrastructure makes it an ideal choice for us to better serve our customers, provide two-way access to products and markets, and thereby contribute to the economic development of the region and India at large.
