In our village, cattle are considered an important part of the family. Any discomfort to them is also a discomfort to the owners. In such a case imagine our animal having a life-threatening condition. A veterinary doctor or veterinary service is a boon to have around in such misfortune. Recently Bhagwanbhai Wagh of Rampara had an experience where the veterinary van was of great help. His cow was mauled by a Lion so badly that almost everyone had left hope. The cow sustained over 90 stiches, while no one could predict the outcome then but slowly the cow began to recover and is now slowly returning to health.
