Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, accompanied by Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State Nimuben Bambhaniya, visited Aawadkrupa Plastomech Pvt Ltd in Gujarat’s Bhavnagar district. Located along the Bhavnagar–Rajkot Road, the facility is emerging as a key player in India’s container production landscape.

During the visit, Vaishnaw conducted a thorough inspection of the manufacturing process and technology, offering strategic suggestions and guidance. He assured full government support to help the company meet the surging global demand for shipping containers. Following the visit, Vaishnaw shared images of the ‘Made in India’ containers on X, spotlighting Bhavnagar’s growing role in India’s industrial ecosystem.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s recent visit to Navagam in Bhavnagar district underscored the region’s growing prominence as a container manufacturing hub. The facility, operated by Aawadkrupa Plastomech Pvt Ltd, currently produces around 15 containers daily based on existing orders. However, with upgraded infrastructure now in place, the company is equipped to scale up production to 100 containers per day.

Vaishnaw was joined by Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State Nimuben Bambhaniya, District Collector Dr. Manish Kumar Bansal, District Development Officer Hanul Chaudhary, and company representative Hasmukhbhai Patel. Their visit signals strong government backing for Bhavnagar’s industrial expansion and its role in meeting global container demand.
