In a major boost to domestic container logistics, CONCOR, in partnership with Caravan Multimodal Movers, has rolled out its first cabotage rail service connecting MMLP Mundra CFS (APSA) to MMLP Dadri (ICDD). Launched on 20th July 2025, the service promises:

  • Accelerated Transit: Speedier and more efficient cargo movement
  • Strategic Edge: Enhanced container utilization and reduced turnaround times
  • Seamless Logistics: Integrated, end-to-end freight solutions for hassle-free operations

This initiative marks a transformative step in inland connectivity and multimodal freight efficiency.

The new rail link offers a fast and reliable cargo movement solution for customers looking to transport goods from the Mundra Port region to the National Capital Region (NCR). This development is expected to streamline supply chain operations for exporters, importers, and logistics providers alike.

Additionally, the service presents a strategic advantage for shipping lines by facilitating the repositioning of empty containers to North India under the cabotage framework. This initiative is anticipated to optimize container utilization and reduce turnaround times. Industry stakeholders have welcomed the move, viewing it as a boost to multimodal connectivity and an enabler for more efficient inland logistics. The collaboration between CONCOR and Caravan reflects a growing emphasis on integrated, time-bound freight solutions across India’s logistics landscape.

Caravan Group is with 50 years of experience in transportation services, and has expanded into rail, warehousing, customs clearance, and freight forwarding. This partnership with CONCOR enables them to offer comprehensive solutions to customers across North India.
