Shri Swarup visited R&D facility of Innovation Thru Energy Co. Ltd (ITE) and medical distribution centre of Alfresa Corporation. Meetings were held with Shri Pankaj Garg-founder & CEO of ITE, Mr. Masanori Nagaya- Director of Operations/ ITE, Mr. Yusuke Fukujin, President/ Alfresa Corporation and Ms. Naoko Yoshioka, Managing Director/ Fintech Global Inc. CONCOR is ITE’s Strategic Business Partner in India for deployment of ICE Battery Cold Chain Logistics on dedicated fright Corridor and domestic Train/ Land Transportation. Currently, CONCOR operates 13 specialized containers outfitted with this sustainable technology, leading the way in green logistics.

Adoption of IceBattery technology significantly enhances cold chain logistics for short-distance transportation of perishable cargo.

This technology Maintains temperature of 2-8°C for up to 72 hours without external power (Electric supply or DG sets), crucial for handling vegetables, fruits, Medicines and milk etc.

In India about 25% of vegetables/fruits food are wasted due to lack of proper storage and transportation facilities. Use of this technology can greatly reduce this wastage.

Since diesel run DG sets are not used to maintain cold chain in this case, this technology helps in reducing carbon emission by approx. 70% and less noise is produced during operation as compared to DG sets.
