The largest parcel size, M.V. MSC FLORIANA VI, has successfully berthed at Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal. The arrival of this massive vessel, which has a Length Overall (LOA) of 285 meters, on January 23, 2025, at 1100 hours, was another significant milestone for DBGT.

The fact that 4,148 TEUs were handled—the largest package size ever recorded at DBGT—highlights the terminal’s operational effectiveness and ability to handle big ships with ease. M.V. MSC FLORIANA VI’s presence solidifies DBGT’s standing as a premier terminal in South India because of its cutting-edge facilities, knowledgeable staff, and outstanding service skills.

DBGT credits this accomplishment to the combined efforts of Team DBGT, Stakeholders, and Port Authorities, whose commitment and support keep raising the bar for port operations. The terminal is unwavering in its resolve to provide top-notch service and support the local economy even while DBGT keeps expanding its capacity and efficiency. The M.V. MSC FLORIANA VI’s call is evidence of DBGT’s dedication to operational excellence and innovation in the maritime sector.
