Recently, the Chain Bucket Ship-unloader, designed by GENMA for the Indonesia PLN coal terminal at Pangkalan Susu port, has been put into service. This is another Genma’s classic masterpiece after Balikpapan Coal Terminal project and Cigading port project.

GENMA chain bucket ship unloader was designed with the efficiency of 2x800t /h, using multi-row chain control, with flexible, efficient and stable unloading characteristics. The GENMA chain bucket ship unloader has low sensitivity to the wind and waves on the water surface. When the barge bumps up and down due to the wind and waves, the material collecting part of the unloader will not be damaged by the collision with the ship cabin, thus improved the environmental adaptability of the equipment.

GENMA chain bucket ship unloader adopts semi-closed design for unloading and material transfer, and works with water-spraying dust-proof device to minimize coal dust pollution. Genma has always been focused on environmental performance, adhere to the concept of “A Product with 7 Advantages”, produce eco-friendly products, make customers’ docks cleaner.

During the installation, the GENMA team’s efficient way of working earned high praise from Mr Widya Arii, site director of Pangkalan Susu port:“My favourite things to do to work with RHM has been the speed of their construction. They always do the work faster than the initial schedule they proposed to us. The other positive things has been their quality of works. RHM provides high quality works. For example, the cleanliness, the completeness, all meet our requirements and our client requirements.”

Note: Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) is the largest power company in Indonesia, covering more than 80% of the country’s electricity supply. GENMA mainly provides coal unloading and delivery services for PLN’s power plants in Pangkalan susu.
