In a significant step towards boosting industrial development in Andhra Pradesh, Chennai based  Green Coke & Energy Pvt. Ltd. has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kakinada SEZ Limited to establish a state of-the-art greenfield manufacturing facility. Under this agreement, Green Coke & Energy Pvt. Ltd. will invest approximately ₹700 crore to set up a metallurgical coke production plant spread across 80 acres within the Kakinada Special Economic Zone. The MoU was formally signed on Wednesday by Mr. Natarajan, Managing Director of Green Coke & Energy Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Ram Reddy Ojili, Managing Director & CEO of Kakinada SEZ Limited.
