In a powerful stride toward self-reliant logistics, the Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has achieved a significant milestone by exporting a container of AMUL Ghee to Sharjah using its own container fleet. This trailblazing operation underscores India’s strengthening capabilities in delivering globally competitive, end-to-end supply chain solutions with indigenous resources.

Executed through CONCOR’s in-house shipping initiative, the shipment highlights the deepening integration between Indian manufacturing and Indian-operated logistics. It reflects not only the sector’s operational maturity but also its rising confidence in managing international trade with self-sustained infrastructure — a bold testament to the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

This groundbreaking initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, DFCCIL, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), alongside global logistics leaders such as Maersk and the CMA CGM Group. Their collective support helped propel a major milestone in India’s self-reliant logistics journey.

As India accelerates the modernization of its trade and transport infrastructure, this successful export sets a compelling precedent for future operations. It highlights the power of indigenous innovation and strategic partnerships in building a robust, competitive logistics ecosystem — one fully capable of handling international supply chains with homegrown efficiency and expertise.
