Jeh Aerospace, an aerospace & defence manufacturing startup, celebrated a significant milestone with the inauguration of its cutting-edge facility by the Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Government of Telangana. The facility, which is scalable upto 160,000 sq.ft., will provide manufacturing solutions to the A&D industry through its scalable manufacturing facilities and vetted supplier networks that meet or exceed global quality standards, transforming the supply chain experience for global aerospace customers.

Situated at JCK Horizon Industrial Park, Hyderabad, Telangana, the state-of-the-art facility will harness India’s full potential for A&D manufacturing and introduce contemporary digital and AI technology, competing with established centres of A&D manufacturing in the US and Western Europe. The facility will create a more robust and adaptable aerospace supply chain and work towards enhancing the industry’s capabilities and resilience.

Commenting on the newly inaugurated facility, Co-founders Vishal Sanghavi and Venkatesh Mudragalla, Jeh Aerospace said, “Today marks a transformative milestone for Jeh Aerospace as we proudly unveil our state-of-the-art facility in Hyderabad, a testament to our unwavering commitment to revolutionise aerospace and defence manufacturing. This cutting-edge facility goes beyond being a physical space; it stands as an embodiment of our relentless dedication to reshaping the global aerospace and defence supply chain. Our sincere appreciation goes to the Hon’ble Minister, Government of Telangana, for gracing this occasion and recognizing the profound impact our venture holds on employment opportunities and economic growth. This marks the commencement of a collective journey to redefine the landscape of aerospace manufacturing, positioning Jeh Aerospace as a guiding light of innovation and excellence in the industry.”

Speaking at the facility launch, Mr. D. Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for IT, Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana said, “It is truly an honour to be part of this momentous occasion as we launch Jeh Aerospace, a venture driven by the unwavering spirit of two remarkable individuals, Vishal and Venkatesh. Their dreams have led them to establish a significant presence in the aerospace industry, echoing the vision of the great industrialist, JRD Tata, whose nickname ‘Jeh’ now inspires this endeavour. I applaud their commitment to creating a state-of-the-art facility that taps into India’s full potential for aerospace and defence manufacturing. The demand for their offerings, and their dedication to bridging the gap in the supply chain are commendable. Our government is resolute in supporting disruptive technologies, particularly in IT and critical defence elements. The alignment of Jeh Aerospace’s vision with our state’s industrial development goals reaffirms our commitment to fostering innovation and growth in this sector. I have strong confidence that this facility will not only contribute significantly to the economic growth of our state but will also generate ample employment opportunities.”

Last week, Jeh Aerospace secured $2.75 million in seed funding through a strategic partnership with the leading global VC firm General Catalyst and seasoned aerospace industry veterans such as Pratyush (Prat) Kumar, Former President, Boeing India, and Srinivasan Dwarakanath, Former CEO and MD, Airbus India. This funding positions Jeh Aerospace for transformative growth, enabling the company to address global supply chain constraints within the aerospace industry,by utilising the funds for building infrastructure, fuel growth, and making a world-class team. Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT), Government of Telangana, also present at the facility launch event, added: “I would like to congratulate Vishal and Venkatesh on the successful launch of Jeh Aerospace, a commendable addition to Hyderabad’s and the nation’s aerospace and defence sector. The company’s focus on critical accessories and components addresses a pressing need in the industry, solving challenges faced by larger players and mitigating delivery delays that impact economies. This endeavour is not just about filling a gap but creating a vital solution. I eagerly anticipate fruitful discussions on accelerating their production facilities, providing employment opportunities for hundreds, and significantly bolstering the aerospace and defence industry’s capabilities. Jeh Aerospace is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this sector in Hyderabad, and I wish them continued success.”
