The bulk carrier MV PROPEL FORTUNE has berthed at Deendayal Port Authority with a consignment of 56,360 metric tonnes of coal destined for UltraTech Cement Limited. The call underscores the port’s role as a key gateway for handling large-volume bulk cargoes supporting India’s industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Cargo discharge operations are currently in progress at the port. According to Deendayal Port, the unloading is being carried out with a strong focus on efficiency, precision and strict adherence to established safety protocols. The smooth handling of the vessel and its consignment highlights the port’s capabilities in managing sizeable bulk shipments and meeting the logistics needs of major industrial customers such as UltraTech Cement.

The operation reflects Deendayal Port’s continued emphasis on operational excellence and efficient vessel turnaround. By maintaining reliable bulk cargo handling performance, the port contributes to the uninterrupted movement of essential raw materials feeding India’s manufacturing and construction value chains.
