The new service will see the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) get ten calls via the Suez Canal, nine of which will connect the Indian subcontinent.

The new service will also give the Port of Savannah 37 ocean carrier calls to global destinations ranging from the mid-Atlantic to the Gulf of Mexico.

The service rotation will be as follows:

Bin Qasim – Pakistan, Hazira – India, Nhava Sheva – India, Mundra – India, Damietta – Egypt, Algeciras – Spain, New York – United States, Savannah – United States, Jacksonville – United States, Charleston – United States, Norfolk – United States, Damietta – Egypt, Jeddah – Saudi Arabia, Bin Qasim – Pakistan

“ONE’s West India North America service recognizes a growing shift in global sourcing, with more manufacturers adding operations on the subcontinent,” stated Griff Lynch, CEO and GPA president.

Griff Lynch added, “With the world’s largest population, India also represents a tremendous market opportunity for US exporters. The Port of Savannah is strategically positioned to exploit this trend, providing more connections to India for supply chain flexibility.”

ONE’s new West India North America (WIN) service will connect Hazira, Nhava Sheva, and Mundra to Savannah weekly. The service will also call at Pakistan’s Bin Qasim, Damietta, Algeciras, and Jeddah, providing additional connections to Mediterranean locations combined with existing services.

“At ONE, we strive to embrace and support our customers’ growth patterns. The rapid move of so many toward India is ripe for collaboration. Our new WIN service is a flexible and dynamic product, designed to catalyze the development of the India-North America market and beyond. Enhanced access to additional growing economies along this new route, by direct call and transshipment, will provide even further value to ONE’s partners in their pursuit of supplier/buyer diversification,” stated Zach Connors, senior director and head of sales of ONE North America. The new service will be supported by a fleet of nine vessels, all of which will be operated by ONE.
