Tehran made the comment on the sidelines of his visit of the Tis village of Chabahar, reiterating: Pishin Border Terminal will be put to use tomorrow at a 13-hectare area, and presently the border facilities are completed in 2.5 hectares of it.

He said that the 280 billion rial project is inclusive of 450 meters of roofed area.
The Roads and Transportation Organization chief said that completion of the project is in need of another 80 billion rial budget.

Tehrani said that the Pishin Border Terminal is the third share border facility with Pakistan, reiterating that the Rimdan and Pishin border facilities were completed within a short period in Sistan and Baluchestan province.

The project was completed before the beginning of the Iranian New Year, 1400 (March 23, 2021), but due to the needed harmonizing with Pakistani officials its opening ceremony was delayed till tomorrow.

Pishin border is a south-most passage between Iran’s Sistan-o Baluchestan province and Pakistan.

The Pishin Border Terminal is at a 180-kilometer distance to Iran’s south-most Chabahar Port.
