The flight transported 65 tonnes of vaccines from the Serum Institute of India. India’s pharmaceutical sector is progressing on a steady growth path, with exports reaching $24.4 billion in 2022-23, according to Pharmexcil. The country’s air cargo industry is also witnessing rapid expansion, marked by a 15% increase in cargo volume during the same period, according to a release from Pradhaan Air Express. “The successful shipment of vaccines to Tashkent showcases Serum Institute’s prowess in the industry and reinforces India’s position as a trusted supplier of high-quality vaccines.” “We are proud to be a part of this milestone, which marks the beginning of a new era in India’s air cargo industry,” says Nipun Anand, Founder, Pradhaan Air Express. “Our goal is to secure India’s position on the global map as a dominant player in air cargo while strengthening the country’s pharma reputation. We are committed to providing efficient and reliable logistics solutions to support the growth of the pharma industry.”
