The arrival of Royal Caribbean’s Celebrity Millennium has marked a defining moment for Mumbai’s Ballard Pier — and no one captured it better than the ship’s captain.

“The difference from our last visit to today is remarkable — a true leap of change. The hospitality has been exceptional. We look forward to returning to The Ballard Pier soon. It’s encouraging to see how quickly the cruising experience in Mumbai, and in India overall, is evolving,” the captain said.

The vessel’s call underscored the terminal’s growing operational maturity. Passengers experienced fast-track immigration clearance averaging just 20 seconds per traveller, smooth and timely coach dispatches, and a hospitality-driven terminal layout that made the waterfront feel both expansive and effortless.

The visit strengthened confidence from one of the world’s most respected cruise brands and reaffirmed Ballard Pier’s readiness to take its place on the global cruising map.
